(That really was the moon, not the street light)
Typhoon Fanapi had passed Taiwan, leaving the southern part of the island devastated. With half of the nation (or was it two fifth?) immersed in water, my family shamelessly decided to carry on with the Taiwanese Moon Festival tradition, by enjoying a nice family dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, and then having moon cakes under the moonlight. Lately the tradition had a slight twitch, with moon cakes slowly being replaced by outdoor barbecue (I'm thoroughly surprised by people's abilities to barbecue almost anywhere at anytime). No matter where you are, hope everyone had a safe and happy Moon fest.
(The resturant was packed, glad we got there early)

(The dog was not fighting me for treat, but shaddock...imagine that!)
